This is wonderful! what is this genre called? beautiful songs, sounds, everything
Thank you very much! It's a kind of crossover between folk, ambient and electronica. I like to call it "elvish post-minimalism".
Felt like I just started back up "Gauntlet Dark Legacy!" & Dibbs on the Blue Wizard! 🧙♂️
nice album, reminds me a bit of Natural Snow Buildings. I bought a copy of this and Imaginal Stage from Bandcamp earlier, bcus fk streaming, subscriptions and ads
Thank you! I hope you enjoy these handcrafted discs made with meticulous care and passion!
Folk Drone
In a way, yes. The electronic effects extend certain acoustic sounds like a tumultuous drone.
This is not music. It's a gateway to another world. It's so beautiful... Especially the track "Errantry" has a certain... spirit of travel. Thank you for this masterpiece :)
Thank you very much! Errantry is probably one of the most medieval-influenced tracks on the album.
Aw man I need more of this! What a treat
Thank you very much! There is a previous album called Imaginal Stage.
The first image looks slightly like AI, what process did you use to make it?
The artwork was created using parallel processing of two AIs and manual editing on the GNU Image Manipulation Program.
I was just surfing youtube, looking around, and when I glanced the sculpture from the thumbnail it immediately caught my attention!! I had to listen to it and it was worth it. Thank you for sharing all this!
Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad the music matches the visuals!
I like it!
Thanks!
Thank you 🙏🍃✨🐛
This is really good. can"t wait to take some 🍄while listening to this!!!
I've heard that there's a strong compatibility between my music and the Little Brothers of the Forest. Enjoy!
I am a fan
Thank you for your enthusiasm!
very cool
Thanks!
I found it amazing😂
Thank you!
Leonora Carrington?😮😊
Perhaps the greatest surrealist artist, yes!
Ah yes i fell sleep
I felt like I had wandered into the myths or fairy tales of another world that we never knew existed. All thanks to the great music and pictures.
Thank you for your kind feedback! It's very pleasing for an artist to know that their initial intention has been transformed into a real experience.
Allure
beautiful artwork. Would love to know the artist name
Thanks! I made it, glad you like it.
@@MerleBardenoir You made that jade statuette?!?!
@@pinkimietz3243 No, it's a digital work using jade textures, but it would be great if one day it was actually made!
@@MerleBardenoir it’s inspiring. Thank you for sharing 💠
Bellísimo y original. Bendiciones. Algo de lo Medieval se entrecruza con frecuencias expsnsivas
¡Muchas gracias! Quería unir dos épocas con influencias medievales y experimentos muy contemporáneos.
@@MerleBardenoir Genial 💫💛
This is dope for transcendental walk into the forest ! Metaphysical world awaits !
Dear friend, you've already embarked with me on a journey of a similar nature, albeit developed through a different medium.
middle ages ambiant. Lit
Thanks! I sometimes describe my sound as otherworldly music for futuristic Middle Ages.
@@MerleBardenoir I can really fit as well. This is a good discovery for me.
If Giuseppe Tartini tutored the Devil in dulcimers instead of violins >:D
Weird compliment, and I love it (it made me listen to the Devil's Trill Sonata early in the morning)!
That first picture is a marvel.
Thank you!
I was just looking for a song to shower with and got way more than I imagined❤
A whimsical music shower is a concept worth exploring! Glad you liked it.
This video appeared as a synchronicity. I was imagining myself standing in front of a mirror. I was thinking of mirrors and reflections. And that’s when I saw this video with that artwork. Very beautiful music and story 🌸 The "mantic berries" and "land of youth" concepts are very close to me. Your album is truly brilliant and magical!
Thanks for the feedback! Synchronicity itself is close to a mirror effect, since it's the image of an inner idea coinciding with an external phenomenon.
How perfect for Beltaine!!
Happy celebration! Glad my music could accompany it.
💗🙏 Merci beaucoup
Merci d'être passé par ici !
Wondrous!🧚🏼🏰🌸
Wow very good
Thank you!
@@MerleBardenoirAre the images in the video made by an artist or are they AI generated? What about the thumbnail? Regardless, they are very beautiful and fit the music
@@RashFever26 It's a blend of artificial intelligence and image processing software.
this cover art is beyond beautiful!
Thank you very much. To create it, I was inspired by Art Nouveau jewelry.

G.U.R.U. Jose!
Makes me want to read "the mists of avalon" again.
This album is deeply rooted in the Matter of Brittany but I'm not familiar with Marion Zimmer Bradley's work. That could be a reading tip, thanks!
@@MerleBardenoir , I read it the first time when I was about 14 years old. This book was the reason for me to separate me from catholic christianity.
I opened this video but didn't know it was a portal to the fae woods 🌿🧚🌿
Thank you for your insight into this portal! The term "ladies from the outside" was used in Sicily in the 16th and 17th centuries to refer to fairies.
@@MerleBardenoir that is really neat! I had no idea!
When I read that you spent two months creating the digital sculpture for the cover, and saw the album atop the hammered dulcimer, I had to order it. This is true art. Thank you for creating this with so much effort and heart.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback! Although I use many instruments on this album, the hammered dulcimer remains the main thread of this sonic journey.
Very specific music for very specific people (me and the men of culture below)
As a philosopher once said, everything beautiful is as difficult as it is rare. The same goes for my listeners, so thank you for being here.
What is the sculpture in the opening picture?
This sculpture doesn't exist; it's a digital work that took me two months to create. Its original name was Strange Attractor.
beautiful and soothing. I like it!
I'm glad you perceive a soothing quality in my music, it's something that's much needed these days.
The name of the artist in the paintings? I really love the music❤
Thank you very much! They are not paintings but digital works that use paint textures. I made them with a sensitive use of various artificial intelligences and manual editing on the GNU Image Manipulation Program.
@@MerleBardenoir THANK YOU! I they look like they were real!
@@MerleBardenoir out of curiosity, is artificial intelligence used in the music as well?
@@IanSanchez-cq2cl No, the music is 100% human. The sounds come from real acoustic instruments (hammered dulcimer, tin and low whistle, bodhran, etc.) processed live by effects pedals and a looper.
I opened the video on a whim, can't say I regret it 👍
Sometimes, serendipity leads to happy discoveries. Thank you for taking the time to mention it here!
This is positively beautiful!
The name of my project shows how important the notion of beauty is in my approach to sound, so thank you!
1:54 😊😊
Like it.....
Thanks!
Joli ballade , tres sympa !
Merci !
very good🤓
